Since we all know Triumph only makes nacked roadster bikes. But this time Triumph goes beyond and finally made a roadster with some fairing on it. Without spelling out much let me introduce you all with the new Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR.

Speed Triple 1200 RR is based on Speed Triple 1200 RS that has launched earlier this year. Like the RS, the RR is fitted with the same liquid-cooled, 12 valves, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder, 1160 cc engine, which produces 180 PS of power and 125 Nm of torque.

The most exciting change you will get to notice in RR is the addition of neo-retro look fairing at the front with circular cafe racer-like LED headlight and top-spec Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 electronically adjustable suspension. Other than these changes, rest all things are same as you get in RS such as taillight, brakes, tank capacity, tires, chassis, frame & full-color 5" TFT instrument cluster.

In RR you will get all features that you usually get in other Triumph bikes like five different driving modes — Road, Rain, Sport, Tack & Rider configuration with additional ride-enhancing technology including a full keyless system, illuminated switch cubes, and fully adjustable cruise control, Triumph Shift Assist up and down quickshifter & Optimised cornering ABS and switchable optimized cornering traction control.

The RR will cost £17,950 for white or £18,200 for its red version. It will be noticeable that how this new experiment of the neo-retro fairing by Triumph separates it from its competitors MV Agusta Superveloce.
