Gurkha is a well-known name for all of us. It is known for its best off-roading, go anywhere at any terrain capabilities. After being showcased in Auto Expo 2020, Force has finally launched the all-new bs6 Gurkha.
Force has completely changed the exterior, interior, fit & finish of Gurkha. You now get big & bolt Gurkha badging at the front grill, circular LED headlamps with LED DRL’s, big 16-inches steel wheels, new stylish taillights, spacious interior with 4-captain seats with armrest for 2nd-row2nd-row seats. With large windscreen & panoramic window for the passengers gives all-around visibility and an airy feel to all.
Gurkha is contour with lots of features that will make your off-roading ease, like an air intake snorkel that ensure ample supply of fresh air for combustion, water wading capacity of 700mm which is unrivalled by any other vehicles, extreme 35° gradeability, and comes with 4x4 High and 4x4 Low levers & mechanically actuated differential locks on both axles which takes you out from any terrain.
Gurkha is powered by 2.6 lit Mercedes — derived common rail engine which produces 91 horsepower & 250 Nm of torque with a 5-speed gearbox. If you are thinking and say that this is good, we get these many features for off-roading but what about convenience & safety features. So, don’t worry in Force Gurkha you get that too. The first and major thing in safety standard is airbags so, you get 2 airbags in Gurkha, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Speed Sensing Door Locks, Follow Me Home & Lead Me To Gurkha, Cornering lamps, 17.78 cm Touchscreen Infotainment System, Power Windows, and Central Locking, Auto-Dimming Interior Lights, Intermittent Variable Speed Front Wiper & last but not least tilt and telescopic steering wheel. So, Gurkha is equipped with tons of features with safety for you as well.
Overall Gurkha has fully changed from the previous model. You get tons of features & off-roading modes and lots of space inside. The price of Gurkha is not disclosed yet. So, we have to wait for it and watch can Gurkha attracts the new Mahindra Thar customers to his side.
